Our programs are donor supported and sustained. It is through fundraising and regular giving that we are able to provide over 300 hours of community support a year in the greater Pittsburgh area and virtually. Your support for our small nonprofit organization has a BIG impact.
All gifts of time or money create ripples of impact now and in the years to come as we build and expand our community. If you have a desire to help grow a specific form of support for those on the path to and through parenthood, please connect with us. We celebrate all offers and acts of financial and professional support.
Donating to our organziation ensures that you are helping us to provide weekly and monthly support groups, expand our marketing reach to new participants and expand our programming.
Our Facing Fertility program provides monthly support groups for those experiencing primary and secondary infertility. We continue to expand support with our 2025 Ask the Experts Miniseries and with your support this and future efforts will help more feeling isolated and overwhelmed during infertility.
Becoming a mom can be a very overwhelming and challenging transition. We know that with more support, moms can find more joy and confidence in their journey and help raise healthy families. Postpartum mental health needs are high and also create crisis and risk to the mom and family. We work to be one way moms find greater mental health in community. Our weekly groups benefit from regular and one-time support and sponsorship.
At Connected Nest, we believe in the power of community. We want our community members to find growth and benefit. We also want to provide benefits to those who support our work financially including free and discounted event tickets and targeted resource support.
Beginning parenting with a NICU baby comes with unique and overwhelming transitions. We want to help parents feel just a little less alone and a little cared for as they are caring for their little one. Annually, we fill over 100 care packages for delivery to Magee Women’s Hospital NICU and AHN Wexford NICU. We gather donations in the fall to help compile a care package that will include a snack, electrolyte mix, lip balm, lotion, tissues, coffee gift card and more. Contact us if you’d like to partner on this project.
May is Maternal Mental Health Awareness Month and we work in that month to raise awareness, provide positive social connection opportunities. We hold a raffle showcasing gifts and services that are “What Mom Really Wants” to support her needs and health. If you would like to collaborate or sponsor this effort or donate, email: theteam@connectednest.org
As a small organization, we can’t do this alone.
