Equipping Parents Program

Providing support, resources and education for those at various stages and challenges on their parenting journey.

Our Equipping Parents program offers community-based support and learning for parents wanting to learn and grow together.

We encourage participants to find solidarity while raising children and becoming a parent. Based on needs, we collaborate and educate on a wide variety of topics that impact parenting. We maintain a trauma-informed mental health perspective and target social-emotional health and family dynamic integration.

Our current Areas of focus

Dads and Father Figures

Positive parenting is best done by all involved. Equipping Dads with support and resources is a goal of ours. As we pursue meetups and classes as needed and beneficial, sig up to keep up to date. We have provided workshops and events open to both partners and will continue to inform you of these.

Parents of Kids with Special Needs

We want to build support for those in our community raising kids with unique needs in the form of neurodivergence, disability and developmental delays. As we get started on this, we will begin with connection opportunities in the community. Get on our email list!

Workshops and Events

We seek to provide additional parenting support! Get on our email list and check back often for coming events.

Babywearing Support

With babywearing support and a lending library we help caregivers safely and comfortably wear babies using carriers, wraps, and slings. Led by experienced educators, our workshops provide hands-on instruction, personalized guidance, and peer support. Incorporating babywearing into your routines can alleviate stress, increase connection and confidence. Our lending library has a wide variety of resources for you to borrow.
